Music for people who take fun seriously

Trout Fishing in America is the longstanding musical partnership of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. A willingness to make fun of our most annoying daily habits, then touch our hearts with tender images of familiar family life, is what makes the connection between Trout Fishing in America and its audiences so compelling and poignant. These four-time Grammy Award nominees have been performing music for three decades, inspiring audiences of all ages to sing and bounce along. In addition, they make full entertaining use of their arresting physical appearance with Ezra standing at a whopping 6 feet 8 inches tall and Keith at roughly 14 inches shorter than his band mate. With songs like My Hair Had a Party Last Night and My Baby Loves Sudoku, Keith and Ezra have been called the “Lennon and McCartney” of family-friendly music. And they’re just plain fun.
