Texa Latino is an up-and-coming Tejano band that is composed of members from other prominent Tejano bands including Culturas and Grupo Sol. From the former band came accordion player Candor “Candyman” Tovar and songwriter and guitarists Luis Ortiz. Coming from the latter band are lead singer and saxophone player Rick Acosta, bass player Manel Enriquez and drummer J.. Hernandez. Their keyboard player Severo Contreras came from the band Tiger Diaz.
