Contagious R&B groove from The Voice
Rhythm and blues singer/songwriter Reagan James, a 17-year-old from Burleson, was thrust into the national spotlight in 2014 as a Top 10 artist on the seventh season of NBC’s The Voice. Although American Idol winner (and former Burleson resident) Kelly Clarkson was once her babysitter, Reagan’s biggest musical influence is her stepdad, a guitar teacher and singer who taught Reagan how to play guitar. Reagan’s been playing gigs while attending high school for the last couple of years, but she’d like nothing more than to follow in the footsteps of her now-famous babysitter with her combination of soulful melody and contagious groove in her growing catalog of original music.
