Folk/rock music with meaning from a finalist on The Voice
Luke Wade makes a return visit to the Levitt hot off the heels of landing in the top five finalists on the seventh season of NBC’s The Voice, where he was part of Team Pharrell. That’s a long way from growing up in a sultry little Texas town known for being the home of sugar cane Dr Pepper. Luke’s Dublin home cultivated creativity. The youngest of four children, his insightful and thoughtful lyrics were inspired by his parents. The spring release of The River and a swell of media coverage have surrounded Luke since his appearance on The Voice. Luke surrounds himself with exceptional musicians and remains keenly aware as to his place in the musical equation. Luke’s songwriting is honest and never self-indulgent, creating music that feels as much a part of the listener as the artist with a charm that has endeared him to his audience and encouraged a rabid following wherever he performs.

Concerts are FREE and family friendly, except for the 38 Special concert on Oct. 5, which requires a ticket purchase. The Levitt Pavilion is located at 100 W. Abram St. in Founders Plaza on the corner of Abram and Center streets. For directions and parking, please see Directions & Parking. The Levitt is an open-lawn seating, outdoor concert venue. Visitors to the FREE concerts should bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Picnics and coolers are welcome to the FREE concerts. Please do not bring glass containers to the Levitt.
