Infectious tribal pop
KatsüK is a world/folk fusion group with an infectious tribal pop atmosphere. Created by composer/performer Daniel Katsük, accompanied by a phenomenal group of world-beat and symphonic instrumentalists, KatsüK is a fiercely prolific, dynamic and exhilarating musical experience ranging from folk to rock to reggae to raga to funk and soul to highly charged percussive eruptions to sweet and melodious symphonic textures. KatsüK has played numerous music festivals, retreats and venues across the world, sharing the stage with acts like Spoonfed Tribe, Colin Hay (from Men at Work), Nahko & Medicine for the People, Galactic, Ziggy Marley, Peter Yarrow, Polish Ambassador, Ozomatli, Rising Appalachia, Kan’Nal, Rebirth Brass Band, Trevor Hall, Los Lonely Boys, Cas Haley, Cowboy Mouth, Guy Forsyth, and Brave Combo. In addition to touring and recording with KatsüK, Daniel is a voice actor for FUNimation, where his music has been featured in the animated series Dragonball Z, Case Closed and Full Metal Alchemist. KatsüK recently released a new album called Labyrinth, a powerful sonic journey through life’s pitfalls and triumphs.
