Karon Chapa recently graduated from Mary Hardin-Baylor University and moved back to the Metroplex to promote her new EP , Life By Storm. She has been involved in music and theater her whole life. She grew up in Arlington and graduated from Martin High School, where she was a member of choir and theater. In high school, she was a member of the Texas All State Choir four years in a row. She was also active at Theatre Arlington and Miss Persis Dance Studio, and is a National Music Theater finalist. Karon began playing guitar and singing around town with the performance group, Young Stars and Guitars, six years ago and is starting a create a buzz in Dallas/Fort Worth area music venues.
Levitt Pavilion General Information:
Concerts are FREE and family friendly, except for the 38 Special concert on Oct. 5, which requires a ticket purchase. The Levitt Pavilion is located at 100 W. Abram St. in Founders Plaza on the corner of Abram and Center streets. For directions and parking, please see Directions & Parking. The Levitt is an open-lawn seating, outdoor concert venue. Visitors to the FREE concerts should bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Picnics and coolers are welcome to the FREE concerts. Please do not bring glass containers to the Levitt. Concessions are sold at the Levitt, including beer and wine.
