QUIMIKOZ; a Cumbia band based out of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Cumbia is a mixture of cultures, originating out of South America, Colombian, afrocuban influence & very popular in the Mexican American culture and now all diversities of cultures from around the globe. QUIMIKOZ creates a mixture of “vallenato” accordion sounds consisting of afro-cuban cumbia beats, reggae rhythms, hip hop layers, and horn ensemble accenting the versatile sound out of the ‘barrio’.
8:30pm – Tejano Queen Forever
Hailing from Dallas, the Tejano Queen Forever Band is a nationally touring act committed to preserving the legacy of Selena Quintanilla Perez. With a lineup of award-winning musicians from both national and international stages, the band’s collective experience spans over 100 years. Leading the charge is the phenomenal Carymel Rodriguez, a Dominican-born artist who flawlessly channels the iconic Selena, delivering heartfelt renditions of the Queen of Tejano’s legendary hits. Backed by top-tier musicians from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the band offers an authentic and unforgettable live music experience.
Produced and managed by Cool Sound Music Inc., Tejano Queen Forever is more than just a tribute band—it’s a cultural phenomenon. Their performances unite Latin music fans, celebrating Selena’s artistry and legacy. Each show takes the audience on a journey through Selena’s diverse musical catalog, captivating fans of all ages and backgrounds.
