Skillfully crafted songs and addictive melodies

Charla Corn has been a little busy since her 2008 debut in the Texas music scene. She became a staple on the touring circuit, delivered a highly acclaimed debut CD, became a co-host on the award-winning morning show of Dallas/Fort Worth’s 95.9 The Ranch, been awarded Best Female Artist by the Texas Regional Radio Musical Association, and gave birth to her first child. Somehow, she found time to record her highly anticipated sophomore release, Stella, that included her first single, Done, which climbed both of the Texas Music charts. Charla started her career in Nashville, not with a major label recording contract, but with CMT, hosting CMT Insider, Wide Open Country and Karaoke Dokie and as a CMT correspondent before deciding that wasn’t her particular “country music dream” and headed back home to Texas. Charla has opened for such regional favorites as Pat Green, Kevin Fowler, Roger Creager, the Randy Rogers Band, Wade Bowen, Aaron Watson and  the Josh Abbott Band.
