Honky-tonk with a dash of spicy Tex-Mex
Since their first album in 2008 went number two in the nation on the Americana charts, The Tejas Brothers have been making the accordion cool with an original sound born on a little stage in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Considered to be one of the best live acts in Texas, the high-energy quartet breaks musical boundaries with a show that’s packed with original tunes, catchy melodies and unforgettable hooks with a sprinkling of new spice given to familiar classics. The group released their third CD, Live a Little More, last spring with guest appearances from Larry Joe Taylor, Augie Meyers and Deryl Dodd. The Tejas Brothers are fun, funny, amazing, breathtaking, inspiring and honest – making their audiences fall in love with them at every performance. Their sound is unique, yet familiar … like something brand new on top of something we’ve all known and loved forever.
