- 2nd Show:
Run away with the circus!
Acrobats and trapeze artists and clowns, oh my! Be delighted and thrilled by circus acts from right here in our own backyard when the Lone Star Circus returns to the Levitt, this year with their new ringmaster, Arlington favorite B.J. Cleveland! Lone Star Circus is the performing arm of Lone Star Circus Arts Center, a Dallas-based nonprofit organization that promotes circus arts through performance, education and community outreach. It is the brainchild of Fanny Kerwich, an eighth-generation circus artist of French descent, who started teaching circus arts 12 years ago at Dallas International School and in her own studio. Lone Star Circus Arts Center began in 2006. Its circus school, Lone Star Circus School, provides professional and recreational training in circus arts for children and adults and provides circus entertainment for public and private events. Who knows? After you see their show, you just might want to run away with the circus!
