Throughout a recording career that has spanned more than 20 years, Jack Ingram has maintained a reputation for personally charged song craft and energetic performances, earning him prominence among singer/songwriters. His work has won him a fiercely devoted fan base as well as critical acclaim for his ever evolving sound. Jack began his career writing songs and performing while a psychology student at Southern Methodist University. He chose music over a career in psychology and went on to be named Best New Male Vocalist by the Academy of Country Music in 2008 and open for artists like Merl Haggard and Mark Chestnutt. Over the years, he’s had a number one hit on the national country chart as well as hits in the top five and top ten. His most recent recording, Midnight Motel, debuted at number 24 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The recording marks a creative milestone for the veteran artist, his sound continuing to evolve while showcasing some of his most expressive, emotionally raw songwriting to date.
