The holiday season kicks off in Downtown Arlington on Saturday, Dec. 9, with something for the whole family! Here’s what’s happening:
2 p.m. Music by Plato’s Theory
3 p.m. Music by Arlington Master Chorale
4 p.m. The Elf Show by Miss Persis Studio
6 p.m. Holiday Lights Parade
7 p.m. Christmas Tree Lighting
7:15 p.m. “Elf” on the Levitt lawn
7:15 p.m. Visit with Santa on the Levitt stage
Times are approximate depending on how long the parade lasts.
Free admission unless it’s stated that a ticket purchase is required. Open lawn seating on lawn chairs and blankets for all free concerts. For free concerts, picnics, snacks and coolers with beverages are allowed, including beer and wine, but no glass containers, please.
Paid-ticket concerts have different rules. If the concert you’re attending required you to buy a ticket, chairs will be provided for you, concessions will be sold (including beer and wine), and no pets will be allowed on the lawn. Please do not bring chairs, coolers, picnics, beverages or pets to a paid-ticket concert.
